It was around mid-day,the streets of the train station town were slowly dying down,along with the hustle of speeding cars fly by.There was peace,no attacks,no crazed monsters,the city seemed to be finally recovering.But this once again left one person completely bored,and with nothing to do.
"Another day,another deal..",Amy said to herself while sitting outside a diner.Along side her red boots were two large bags,one filled with food,the other with clothes.Shopping,though one of her favorite things,had become dull compared to all the adventure she was used to,that..and being with Sonic.It had been awhile since she had seen the blue hedgehog,he was probably running around somewhere,anywhere,she wished she could be there.
"I wish Sonic was here,at least then there would be something fun to do..if any of the others were here.But,their all gone doing something,and Im here..alone..again..",the pink hedgehog sighed while a frown remained on her face.Now leaning her round head on both of her open palms,Amy just looked off into the distance,as if waiting for her hero to return...

“Okay, so…it’s actuall two half notes, huh…,” Roxy mumbled as she read over the sheets of music within a book she had recently purchased. A book of songs that is. You see, Roxy normally didn’t shop, but there was a song she had recently heard and since Roxy was too hyped up to try and learn it by ear, so she just went out and bought the book of songs for the album the song she had heard was from.
“Wait, so the song starts on G natural?! Wow, I was way off,” the chimera mused, scratching the side of her head. And yet all of a sudden…the chimera paused and stood staring with half lidded eyes. Her stomach growled obnoxiously.
“Murr,” Roxy purred, rubbing her stomach, “I’m hungry.” Well, that was understandable. The only thing the chimera had eaten since she had left home was a bowl of fruit. Luckily, the chimera had stumbled her way right in front of a diner. Did the chimera have any money?
Roxy dug in her pocket with her free hand.
Not in her left pocket, let’s try the right. She allowed her left hand to hold the book and dug into her pocket with her right hand. No money in there, either. Crap! I must have spent it all on the book, she thought with a grimace. Sighing, the chimera closed her eyes. Well, she has lasted for hours on nothing, so this wouldn’t have been a first.
With closed eyes of exasperation, Roxy sat at a random table, one with a pink hedgehog. She didn’t even know there was another presence until she opened her eyes. Well, wasn’t this rude. “Oh…! Excuse me, I, uh, didn’t know whether or not this seat was reserved and stuff,” Roxy apologized awkwardly with wide, brown eyes.

Amy had actually just noticed the feline,due to her thoughts being off in the distance.Looking towards her with a blank expression,the hedgehog smiled as she shook her head."No no,its open...I kinda was hoping to see someone ,but I don't think hes coming...",the girl said with a calm tone of voice as she thought to herself for a moment.
"Sonic....why won't you come back to me?",her heart ached for a moment,but she pushed her emotions to the side for that time being as she looked towards the stranger and outstretched her hand.

Roxy stood next to her seat, trying to push it back in, but looked up to her surprise. So this hedgehog wanted Roxy to stay? The chimera herself actually wanted to leave, but only shrugged and slowly sat back down, reaching out to shake this pink hedgehog’s hand. Amy, eh? That name sounded oddly familiar…
“Well, my name is Roxy. Nice to meet you, Amy,” the chimera nodded. Roxy withdrew her hand when she was finished shaking the hedgehog’s hand to set it on the book of songs. The chimera looked to the sky for a brief moment. She had no idea of how to start a conversation…darn her introverted ness! Darn it! Well, may be she could ask a simple question.
“So you said you were waiting for a certain person? If you don’t mind me asking, who is this person you are waiting for?” the chimera asked politely with those bright brown eyes of hers.

"Oh,his names Sonic!I was pretty sure he'd be running into town today,so I thought I 'd try and catch him..",Amy then giggled as she had indeed planned to catch the blue hedgehog,if she could find him.But from the look of how things seemed,that would not be possible,at least not now.
Looking over towards Roxy,she noticed the book of songs and smiled as she pointed towards it."I see you like music..."

So she planned…to catch him? Roxy thought in question. Was she stalking this ‘Sonic’ guy or something? She hoped not, ‘cause then that would be kind of…creepy. “Well, he might be somewhere in town just not…here,” Roxy assured while blinking. She had subconsciously opened the book of songs so that it splayed all of the wonderful black notes and rests.
“Huh? Oh, I love music! In all honesty, I don’t think I would have been able to survive this long without the stuff,” the chimera chirped. Wait…she sounded awfully happy saying that. Did she like to talk about herself or something? More stuff to brood about when she got home…

Amy leaned forwards over the table,looking down at the page of notes.Half of them she could understand,but she was never really able to read musical notes all that well,she preferred words over them.
"Thats really neat!I wish I could at least read music,I just stick to words...",the pink hedgehog said as she looked up from the book and smiled at the chimera.
